Elderly Care
The importance of hydration in older people
Hydration is a key component of maintaining a healthy body and it is particularly important for older people to drink enough, this is a key part of elderly care.
As well as affecting general health, dehydration can also lead to serious infections (such as urinary tract infection), make other illnesses worse or lead to physical injury as a result of a fall.

Dementia Friendly Film Screenings at the Corn Exchange
As part of our dementia friendly screening programme, on Monday 1 July at 11.00am we are screening a classic favourite On the Town.
This is a Dementia Friendly screening, designed to meet the needs of people living with dementia along with their families and carers.
With lights left on low and the sound reduced, there is also a short comfort break in the middle of the film and audiences can feel free to move around throughout – or sing along to any musical numbers! – should they wish to.
Below is further information about the screening and a short trailer for the film.
